Mo Williams finished with 23 points and 14 assists while Anderson Varejao added 14 points and 17 rebounds as the Cleveland Cavaliers finally got back in the win column with a 109-102 overtime victory over the New York Knicks on Saturday.
Antawn Jamison scored 21 points and Anthony Parker had 17 to help the Cavs snap a 10-game losing skid. Cleveland had gone winless for December, last having won on Nov. 27.
With things even at 95 early in overtime, Varejao made a layup and Williams hit a midrange jumper for the four-point cushion. After Amare Stoudemire converted a layup, Cleveland responded with six straight points - including four from Jamison - to pull away for good.
Raymond Felton had 23 points and 11 assists, while Stoudemire finished with 23 points and 11 rebounds for New York, which has dropped three straight.
Williams forced overtime by hitting a runner with three seconds remaining in regulation.
