Joe Johnson scored a season-high 37 points and the Atlanta Hawks sent the visiting Toronto Raptors to their 13th consecutive defeat with a 100-87 victory on Wednesday night.

Johnson poured in 14 points in the fourth quarter and sparked a game-breaking 12-0 run as the Hawks beat the Raptors for the third time in as many tries to sweep the season series for the first time since 1998-99.

It was the fifth 30-point performance in the last nine games for Johnson, who also had eight assists and helped send the Raptors to their longest skid since they dropped 13 in a row from Feb. 12-Mar. 7, 2002.

Josh Smith added 18 points and 11 rebounds and Al Horford had 12 and 14 to lift Atlanta to its 13th victory in its last 15 home games.

Amir Johnson scored 20 points to lead five players in double figures for Toronto, which didn't arrive in Atlanta until Wednesday morning after a massive storm forced the team to spend the last two nights in Indianapolis.

A basket by Maurice Evans with under a minute to play made it 100-85, marking the ninth consecutive game in which the Raptors surrendered 100 points.
