Carmelo Anthony scored 25 points and was 4-for-4 on 3-pointers as the visiting Denver Nuggets exacted revenge from the host Dallas Mavericks with a 103-92 victory on Saturday night.

Al Harrington had 14 points and eight rebounds off the bench for the Nuggets (4-2), who lost to the Mavericks 102-101 at Denver on Wednesday night.

The Nuggets were 13-for-20 from 3-point range.

Jason Terry scored 26 points, including 23 in the first half, while Dirk Nowitzki added 23 and Caron Butler chipped in with 13 points and 10 rebounds for the Mavericks (3-2), who had a two-game winning streak snapped.

The Nuggets took the lead for good 84-81 on Ty Lawson’s 3-pointer with 10:20 left in the fourth quarter.

Chauncey Billups scored 18 points and J.R. Smith had 11 points and five assists for the Nuggets, who have won two straight. Gary Forbes made his second career start, and contributed eight points for Denver.

Caron Butler had 13 points and 10 rebounds for the Mavericks.

Nuggets center Nene missed his third straight game with a strained groin.
