LeBron James collected 35 points, 11 rebounds and five assists to outduel Derrick Rose as the Miami Heat survived the visiting Chicago Bulls, 97-93, on Sunday.

Chris Bosh added 24 points and 12 boards for the Heat, who prevailed despite a 4-for-16 shooting night from Dwyane Wade.

Rose was 28-for-28 at the free throw line in fourth quarters this season and 12-for-12 in the game when he was fouled with 22 seconds left on Sunday and the Bulls trailing 94-93. The reigning MVP missed both chances, failing to give Chicago its first lead of the game.

James was fouled at the other end and also missed both, but an inadvertent whistle resulted in a jump ball at center court.

James won the tip, and Mario Chalmers split a pair of free throws with 13.6 seconds left to give Miami a 95-93 edge.

Chicago had one last chance but Rose missed a floater in the lane with one second left and Bosh finished it up at the line.

James had several highlight dunks in the first half, including one in which he literally jumped over Bulls guard John Lucas to catch an alley-oop from Wade. James finished 12-for-23 from the floor.

Rose ended up with 34 points, six rebounds and six assists for Chicago, which was playing without forward Luol Deng.
