Bulls 99, Pistons 79: Luol Deng scored 27 points and Taj Gibson added 23 off the bench as visiting Chicago notched its first win since Derrick Rose's season-ending knee injury.

Joakim Noah, Kirk Hinrich and rookie Tony Snell each contributed 13 points for Chicago, which went on a late 19-0 run to win for just the second time in nine road games this season. The Bulls had dropped four straight contests, including a pair of ugly defeats to the Clippers (by 39 points) and the Jazz (who entered that game with a 1-14 record) after Rose was injured Friday in Portland.

Rodney Stuckey led the Pistons with 25 points off the bench. Two of Detroit's big men had double-doubles, as Josh Smith recorded 13 points and 11 rebounds while Andre Drummond had 10 points and 11 boards.

The teams were neck and neck throughout the first half before Stuckey's layup in the final seconds sent the Pistons into the locker room with a two-point advantage. Stuckey had 15 points in the opening half, while Gibson and Deng led Chicago with 15 points apiece on combined 14-of-18 shooting.

The Bulls began to take control in the third quarter, outscoring the Pistons 25-15 behind six points apiece from Deng and Noah. Still, Detroit was within 80-75 with 7 1/2 minutes left when Chicago went on its massive run, during which Detroit went more than seven minutes without scoring.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Two days after torching Utah for 26 points and 16 rebounds, Bulls F Carlos Boozer managed only six points on 3-of-11 shooting against the Pistons. ... Making his second career start, Snell shot 5-of-9 from the field, including 3-of-5 from behind the arc. ... Deng has increased his scoring total in five straight games (six, 15, 22, 24, 27).
