Kings 99, Bulls 70: DeMarcus Cousins had 25 points and 16 rebounds in his return from an ankle injury as Sacramento routed visiting Chicago to end a seven-game losing streak.

Isaiah Thomas added 19 points and Rudy Gay scored 14 for the Kings, who had a 53-30 rebounding advantage and limited the Bulls to a season-worst 28.2 percent shooting from the field. Cousins was injured in the first contest of the seven-game skid and had missed the last six outings.

Jimmy Butler scored 17 points and Taj Gibson and Tony Snell added 11 apiece for the Bulls. Chicago set a season low for points scored and played the final 19 1/2 minutes without All-Star center Joakim Noah, who was ejected in the third quarter.

Sacramento had a 12-point lead after holding the Bulls to 12 first-quarter points but Chicago used a 16-2 burst to tie the score at 30 with 5 1/2 minutes left in the second quarter. The Kings regained control with a 14-3 run to lead 44-33 at the break.

Cousins had 12 points in the third quarter as Sacramento stretched its lead to 71-57. A 9-1 surge to begin the final stanza pushed the lead to 22 and Jimmer Fredette’s 3-pointer made it a 30-point margin with 4:11 remaining.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Noah drew two technical fouls 2 1/2 minutes apart in the third quarter and angrily gestured at all three officials after his ejection. … Sacramento had a dominating 48-14 edge in points in the paint while overcoming 23 turnovers. … The Bulls have scored an average of 74.5 points in their last two games, losing both.
