Oregon 79, Washington State 77 (OT): E.J. Singler hit the game-winning free throws with four seconds left in overtime as the visiting Ducks completed a sweep of the Washington schools for the first time since 1989-90.
Washington State tied the score at 77 on a 3-pointer by Royce Woolridge, who scored a career-high 36 points, before Singler decided it. The senior forward hit four 3-pointers and finished with 25 points, giving him 90 in five games against the Cougars.
Oregon (21-5, 10-3 Pac-12) rallied from an 11-point halftime deficit to lead late in regulation, but DaVonte Lacy nailed a 3-pointer with nine seconds left to force overtime. Washington State (11-15, 2-11) lost its sixth straight despite the monster effort from Woolridge, who came in averaging 8.8 points.
The Cougars played without second-leading scorer Mike Ladd (knee). They hit 6-of-13 from beyond the arc in the first half and led 38-27 at the break.
Oregon, playing without point guard Dominic Artis (foot) for the seventh straight game, got 20 points from Carlos Emory and 16 from Damyean Dotson. Arsalan Kazemi grabbed 12 rebounds to go with eight points.
