AJ Dillon scored two fourth-quarter touchdowns on short runs as the Green Bay Packers defeated the visiting Seattle Seahawks 17-0 Sunday with a light snow falling at Lambeau Field.
Dillon, who finished with 66 yards on 21 carries, scored from 3 yards out with 10:37 remaining and from 2 yards with 1:56 left.
Quarterbacks Russell Wilson of the Seahawks and Aaron Rodgers of the Packers returned after missing time, but the game ended up as a defensive battle.
The Seahawks (3-6) were shut out for the first time since 2011, the year before they drafted Wilson. He missed the first three games of his career after undergoing finger surgery following an Oct. 7 game against the Los Angeles Rams, when he hit the middle finger of his right hand on the arm of pass rusher Aaron Donald.
The Packers (8-2) rebounded from a 13-7 loss last week at Kansas City when they were without Rodgers, who tested positive for COVID-19.
Rodgers completed his 10-day quarantine Saturday and was activated following a negative virus test. He completed 23 of 37 passes for 292 yards with one interception.
Wilson was 20 of 40 for 161 yards with two interceptions.
All three of the picks came in the opponent's end zone.
Facing third-and-10 from Green Bay's 12-yard line with 7:53 left in the third quarter, Wilson rolled to his left and tried to find DK Metcalf. But Kevin King stepped in front of the receiver and made the interception.
Rodgers drove the Packers down the field, but on third-and-6 from the Seattle 15, he was pressured out of the pocket by Rasheem Green and floated a pass into the end zone as he was falling down. The ball was picked off by Jamal Adams.
Following Green Bay's initial touchdown drive, the Seahawks got a first down at the Packers' 43, but Wilson's pass intended for Tyler Lockett into double coverage in the back of the end zone was intercepted by Adrian Amos.
The Packers then marched 80 yards in 10 plays for Dillon's second TD run.
The Packers led 3-0 at the half as Mason Crosby hit a 27-yard field goal with 9:31 left in the second quarter. That snapped a streak of three consecutive misses by Crosby, including a 42-yarder that went wide right on the game's opening possession.
