Adam Henrique scored the shootout winner after netting one goal and one assist in regulation, leading the Anaheim Ducks to a 4-3 win over the Winnipeg Jets on Thursday night in Anaheim, Calif.

Henrique was the only player from either team to find the mark in a shootout that went five rounds. Anaheim goalie Ryan Miller, who was pressed into action late in the third period and didn't face any shots until the shootout, stopped all five Jets who tried their luck at the Honda Center.

The Ducks won four of five games during a lengthy homestand, capping it with a victory over a tough Jets team in a see-saw affair.

Winnipeg's Patrik Laine opened the scoring three minutes into the game when a bounding puck came onto his stick as he was heading to the front of the net. He buried the puck past Ducks goalie John Gibson.

Henrique evened the count a few minutes later by stripping the puck from Laine just inside the Jets' blue line and snapping a shot over the shoulder of Jets goalie Connor Hellebuyck. Henrique is now riding a five-game point streak in which he has collected four goals and six points.

Nick Ritchie gave the Ducks their first lead when he was parked at the edge of the crease and deflected Henrique's shot just 84 seconds into the second period, but Winnipeg's Brandon Tanev responded two minutes later with a tap-in tally set up by Jacob Trouba, who stole the puck and created a two-man breakaway.

Ryan Kesler put the hosts ahead 3-2 early in the third period when he fired a sharp-angled shot that beat Hellebuyck because the Jets goalie wasn't ready and in position. However, Winnipeg's Jack Roslovic scored his first NHL goal 30 seconds later by burying a long rebound.

Gibson, who stopped 24 shots, left the game with less than seven minutes remaining in regulation after Jets captain Blake Wheeler lost an edge and crashed into him.

Hellebuyck made 36 saves for the Jets, who had a three-game winning streak snapped.
